I got this idea from moji and Jenny. Then the idea of alphabet mosaic came out to be a relaxing activity after 1st examination. For the second graders, alphabets learning is the most important foundation, needless to say, it influences the following lessons. The goal is to let them write the letters out, also to memorize the shape of each letter.
materials:
1. several pieces of color papers
2. glue
3. 1/4 of standard-sized sheet
steps:
●fold the drawing sheet into four equal parts
●write alphabet letters ( Here we write upper case only)
●tear color papers into small pieces
●glue follow the line with one color
● then glue the space with another color
● the letters will stand out themselves after art designing
